Guest guest
Today was open enrollment at work. In my exclusions it says Orthognathic treatment/surgery. However medically necessary treatment for TMJ disorder is covered. So does that mean there is No hope for me getting this surgery??? Thanks for any replys
Guest guest
hi melissa, read a few of the previous posts....if you have tmj then your dental will cover. Most of the time medical insurance will pick it up. > Today was open enrollment at work. In my exclusions it says > Orthognathic treatment/surgery. Guest guest
Is this your MEDICAL insurance? Do you have TMJ troubles? I would not say at all that there is no hope. I would suggest that if you know which surgeon you want to use, get in touch with his or her office and ask for advice. They'll probably know best which companies will and won't. Your ortho's office may also be able to offer suggestions. Cammie > Today was open enrollment at work. In my exclusions it says > Orthognathic treatment/surgery. Guest guest
There's a lot I don't know, but I don't think I have ever heard of DENTAL insurance covering the surgery, TMJ or no. I do know policies sometimes cover all or parts of things like splints. I could be mistaken, though. Cammie > > Today was open enrollment at work.
