Surgery and periodontal problems

Do any of you have periodontal desease and go through the surgery?

(Cammie is the only known case) How do you deal with these

two problems together?

Hi Val!

I have juvenile periodontis. My life has been constant dental visits

for way longer than I care to think about. I had jaw surgery last

December and I'm doing well. My dental team are all very proud of

their work, but it's extra complicated when you have periodontal

disease. My surgeon and ortho love the challenge though It depends

how serious your case is also.
