Gig Harbor's not really close enough to Redmond and Bellevue to be a

Bill Gates joke, but you're right, Gig Harbor's gorgeous. Now go Google

" Galloping Gerdie " ... The replacement bridge is the one you have to take

to get to Debbie's house. Love to visit, could pass on doing it every

day, twice a day, to get to the " mainland " and back. I finally found a

page with the famous MPEG file...

I just bought one of those cold systems that you put in the freezer

for >2 hours and then insert into a sleeve that closes with Velcro

when wrapped around the sore appendage. Then, it can be heated in

the microwave for warmth. So, I will give it a workout this evening.

I wondered if there really was a place called " Gig Harbor, " or if it

was some kind of a Bill Gates joke (as in Gigabit). So, I Googled

it, and found that you live in a storybook place. Lucky woman!

OH MY goodness!!!!!! LOL I actually don't mind crossing the Tacoma

Narrows Bridge.....except on days like today...when it is REALLY windy.

And I make drive the motor home across it. I hate being able to

see that FAR down. They are building an additional bridge to help with

the tremendous traffic jams that happen. THAT will be interesting.
