Guest guest
: It's way pass my bed time, but wanted to answer this before I go. Fred has the dry eyes, he had those about two years before he was DX with the MSA. He had contact for years and no problem, but then one year he got them and he couldn't wear them, he took them back to the eye doctor and he gave Fred a different set, but these were also the same way. The next year he went to a different eye doctor and he told Fred he could'nt wear the contacts anymore because he had dry eyes. He get's moist eye drops to help with this. The other thing that you asked about was the eye shut. Fred has had this off and on for the last few months. His right eye will be closed, but the left will stay open. Also on the right side his mouth will look like it's pulled down , when the left side is alright. As the MSA seems to progress , his getting more things wrong that we see. So your not the only one that has the Eyes wide open or wide shut. Take Care Vera
Guest guest
THANKS VERA. I APPRECIATE YOUR DROPPING ME A POST IN RESPONSE TO THIS SITUATION. WE ALL GET LAUGHS OUT OF IT, BUT... I JUST WANTED TO SEE IF I WAS ALONE ON THIS ONE. I WAS AT A MEETING TODAY WHERE I MENTIONED ABOUT MY HEAD BOBBING AND HAVING THE EYE OPEN THING WHEN SLEEPING, AND I JOKED ON HOW THIS COULD LOOK REAL GOOD FOR SERMONS - AS IT WOULD LOOK LIKE I WAS PAYING ATTENTION - AND AGREEING. IT GOT SOME LAUGHS, WHICH IS MUCH MORE WHAT I WANT WHEN I'M AROUND OTHERS THAN ANYTHING ELSE. HAVEN'T ACTUALLY FALLEN ASLEEP DURING A SERMON LATELY. BUT HAVE DONE SO WHEN DONNALEE WAS TALKING TO ME. ONE TIME, WHILE SHE WAS DRIVING, SHE PULLED OVER AND I WOKE UP. THAT WAS PROBABLY ONE OF THE FIRST TIMES SHE NOTICED I WAS DOING IT. THANKS AGAIN FOR POSTING WHEN YOU WERE TIRED. I REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR INPUT (AND THAT OF EVERYONE ELSE ON THIS FORUM). SINCERELY, PAUL > : > It's way pass my bed time, but wanted to answer this before I go.
