Guest guest
To Everyone, The Board members and Committee members would like to say thank you to those that have supported our efforts on making this foundation a reality. We really appreciate you! Many, many hours of exhausting work go into any foundation. The paper work, the contacts we have made for Relapsing Polychondritis are all going well, but there is still much to be done. That's why we're writing: to ask you if you could spare some time to work with us as a volunteer, Just tell us what you could help with, we will put you on a list and you will be contacted at some point. There's no special expertise required, and you don't have to have a political science degree. All you need is the belief that Relapsing Polychondritis is worth working for, and that volunteers are the most important part of a foundation. There is fund raising to be done, writing letters, mailings, typing, deliveries of brochures...you name it. There's a lot to do, and we need your help. One big thing we need from you is for those of you that haven't made your commitment to the foundation and mailed your #15.00 yearly contribution to do so. We need whatever you can send, we will have a lot of stuff to pay for, please bear with me for a second. If you truly want this foundation to work and you truly want research out there for us, with the hope of cures. Then why not help us with it? No board member will ever be paid, all the money is going for what we told you. We are giving our time and money to make this a reality. But we need you also to help. We set the contribution amount low, because we felt like more could contribute and bless your hearts some have done more than there share. For this we are thankful. We couldn't have made it this far without those of you that have contributed. We truly appreciate your dedication to all of our goals. But aren't we all a group that is wanting to make a stand together? We need the rest of you to help and support the foundation, please think about it and act on it if at all possible. If for some reason your not happy with anything about the foundation or the money and want to voice your opinion please write to one of the board members. We will get back to you and it will be kept confidential. Also, if you get a chance to read this month's issue of the magazine called Rosie it tells the story of a 9 year old little girl who did fundraising on her on for cancer and has raised over 8,000. In a small length of time. Wow! She was one determined little girl, with great ideas. We need people like her on our side. This will be one of the most fulfilling things you have ever done. We have counted on all of you from the beginning. We thought your goal was the same as ours. Please help us to get more stuff going. We have to have more funds. We need you on our side. Any one who wants to help or those who want to show their dedication to this foundation. Please mail your $15.00 yearly contribution made out to RP Foundation and mail it to: RP Foundation c/o Colloran Membership Dept. 775 Bounty Place Manteca, CA 95337 We look forward to hearing from you. Thank you! Luanne Secretary RP Foundation

I need to be kept busy as the membership chair...so Please everyone, isn't a small contribution worth getting the word out on RP. We need EVERYONES help to make this foundation work... After all, it is YOUR foundation. WE(the group) are the ones looking for answers, research and hopefully a cure, but we can't do it without all of you. We have over 200 members in the support group... and more joining daily.. We should be able to make a difference. Think of all the others we can't reach because they don't have a computer. They need our help too. We need to get information out there on paper, in drs offices, hospitals, etc. but it takes time and money, and volunteers. We really need all of you now. hugs
