Elaine:

Fred hasn't had any pressure sores so far. Guess we've been lucky. I did get

a Smart foam Geo Tech slow recovery mattress pad from Linen N " Things for his

bed. It cost around $70.00 . Then I move Fred in bed every 2 or 3 hours. I

did find that link on how to care for pressure sores and it said to keep it

cover with a bandage or dressing. I just wonder how the &

First Aid Advanced Care bandages would do for a pressure sore. I know I've

use them on Fred when his fallen and cut or scaped the head & etc. They seal

out water, dirt and germs. They cost about $4 for 3 ( depends on what size)

but I find that within a few days Freds cuts and scapes are healed. It's

something to think about. They may work to heal the pressure sore. I get

them at Wal_mart. I'm sure you can find them anywhere.

Take Care

Vera
