Guest guest
Carmela, I think an Oral Surgeon is the one to see. Insurance companies are in a fight over who see you. Medical drs aren't covered and dentists aren't covered. So I guess your just plain out of luck on this issue. LOL My moms was so bad on both sides, that they did surgery 3 times. Twice on one side and once on the other. She had dentures so it comlicated things. I don't think I would take the route of surgery after seeing what she went through unless you just couldn't stand the pain any longer. She was unable to open her mouth. I've just sort of learned to live with it. LOL At least you know where I am when I'm eating. LOL Hope your Sunday is a great one. hugs
Guest guest
Hi You don't really hear a click, as much as see the jaw sort of go off to the side a little... LOL.. I know it sounds weird, but the dentist never mentioned anything about what can be done about it, or seemed to express too much concern. It doesn't cause any pain, however, I'm having serious suspicions that it all started when my wisdom teeth were extracted (right side) and that is the same side where I have the pulsatile tinnitus; that started at the same time. But this was long ago around 1988/89 so I don't really remember if I had these symptoms before that time.. What can be done about it? and what kind of doctor can do something about it? perhaps surgery? but might make things worse!! anyway... we'll see...perhaps next time I have a dentist appt I'll ask again. have a great weekend love you Carmela ************************ > >> >Carmela, this is a definate sign of TMJ.
