(of course, that may have to do with the amount of Schaffer's (is the, one beer to have when you're having more than one.....)that was nearby! Re: meal plan? Ah the Mummers. I am 60 years old now, but when I was in High School I lived right in the staging area for the parade (south Philadelphia). To me, it was the graddaddy of all parades. I would do the strut for weeks afterward. Of course being a fatty, I thought I looked foolish so I only did it at home.
