hello,

i felt i wanted to comment on this last post.  i am 48. was married for 17

years to a man 10 years older then myself. divorced in 98.  in 1999  met a

man, fell in love, and have been living together for three years now. he is

34 years old. i have never been happier in my life. his ex wife was a little

older then i am.   also.. in the few years that i was single, i found that

men his age approached me to go out... and at first... it was shocking to

me.  don't even ASK how my 21 year old daughter reacted to this    

i guess what i'm trying to say here is that  yes... most men do look for

young girls... either to hold on to their youth... or God knows what other

reasons... but there are men out there that look for substance... don't want

a young girl .. perhaps i was the exception to the rule...

my darling sister in law.. my brothers wife... told me once.. Jodi... you

should be going out with 60 year old men... after all you are going to be

50!  and this was several years ago!   people have preconceived ideas...

i have learned at my " old age " to allow them to think and feel what they

want.... as long as i am not hurting anyone, and i am happy.... then so be

it. 

and by the way... the men that are looking for the young chicks.... i found

in MY experience, that i would not want to give them the time of day... those

are the ones driving the expensive sports cars... and NOT looking for

commitment.. just surface stuff... i am much more then that...
