Subject: Re: Mattress Protection from Bed Leaking

My husband's needs are probably much farther along than erry's, but this

info might help you. We use some pads that we purchase from some of the

mail order catalogs that you get in the mail. They are slightly padded,

lined with vinyl. I use them under the sheet and again on top of the sheet

in an attempt to cut down on bed changes.

If they have urine, I throw them into washer on hot/hot water with detergent

and some Oxyiclean. They go in drier. If they are some soiled with fecal

matter, I clean off as much as I can into commode and then wash them twice

as described aove.

The drier does not seem to bother them. Some of ours are 10 years old,

because we first got them for a a grandchild who had difficulities in bed

wetting.

The pads we use came from a mail order company. 1-.

Dr. Leonard's

#95042 Bed Pad, size 29X35, price $9.99 or 2 for $17.99

Hope this info helps.
