Guest guest
Hi all, Anne is fighting the flu still and will try to answer all your emails as soon as she can. She is also two weeks behind on her school work so be patient. On the stomach problems mentioned by someone (?) here is what she had to say: " I can only answer what you have said as you haven't given details of the stomach problem? Yes I did have vomiting near the beginning. Soon learned not to eat to avoid it. That was why I went onto Sustagen only. When the doc who was wrongly convinced I was anorexic and fed me by nasal gastric feed I vomited all the time. That is why I pulled it out after three weeks! If you have gastroparesis (paralysed stomach) food just sits in the stomach for hours, so to eat you are trying to put food into a still full stomach. Because full there is only one way for more food to go and that is up!! There are other symptoms too, obviously loss of appetite, bloating and pain when you try to eat. " Hope this helps some of you, Bill Werre
