Guest guest
I had the strangest thing happen today. I had a whole bunch of enery and was cleaning like crazy. To cut to the chase, I do have dermatitis. Anyway some chemical, cleaning or just me, caused my hands to burn up. I had to put them under cold water, tried aloe vera lotion, (made it worse) is anyone that susceptible to cleaners??? This was VERY painful. Hands are very red and swollen, plus now in palms of hands its white. What the hell is going on???? Sue Hi Sue Is sounds like you had a reaction to the cleaning stuff. What were you using? It must have been strong stuff. If it keeps bothering you can a dermatologist. He can give you something to calm your hands down, plus you could take a benadryl tablet. Let me know what you used. Guest guest
Dear Sue, What kind of cleaning stuff were you using? I have a terrible problem with any kind of window cleaner. Hope your hands are better. Do you use rubber gloves??? If so, could you be allergic to latex? I use those rubber gloves that have a cotton liner, although I don't know if that's any safer. I'm just plain allergic to cleaning house! LOL Take care. Love, Marilyn I had the strangest thing happen today. I had a whole bunch of enery > and was cleaning like crazy. Guest guest
Dear Lu, thanks for the reply. In the morning I moisturized my hair with VO5 hot oil treatment. In the afternoon, dish soap, windex, stove top cleaner for smooth surface stoves and Liquid Gold. About an hour after the Liquid Gold is when my hands caught on fire. None of them is anything I havn't used before. Love, Sue
Guest guest
Dear Dawn, I know Benadryl helps but the pain was so intense I could hardly think. Well except to keep them under cold water. The ice packs even made it hurt...it was very weird...Love Sue
