A Trial of Synthetic Growth Hormone in Patients with Multiple System Atrophy

A new trial is about to begin at the Institute of Neurology, Queen Square,

London, under the supervision of Professor Niall Quinn. The aim of this

trial is to investigate whether or not synthetic human Growth Hormone has a

useful effect in patients with Multiple System Atrophy. We are looking for

patients between 30 and 75 years of age who have been diagnosed with MSA. If

Just an update on 's participation in the tests. We attended last

Monday for initial tests, we were seen by two VERY YOUNG doctors who asked

many questions, one of the tests involved holding his arms out fully,

his right thumb trembled a little - so does mine in this position - and the

girls decided had got parkinsons not MSA. I just give up with some of

these people. They admitted they were not sure and would have to contact

s professors and they would come back to us shortly.... so that is

where we stand, as yet we are not sure if is going to take part or

not.
