8 days post-op

Hi Group,

I'm 8 days post-op and all is well. I had my first appointment with

my OS today since the surgery. I now have a bevy of rubber bands

criss crossing my teeth, top to bottom. They are not too tight so it

is really not that bad. Face swelling and swelling inside my mouth

are really down. The nurse at the OS couldn't believe it! The

numbness is beginning to subside as well. It most noticable on the

tip of my tongue, under my lower lip and my chin. I think something

is going on with my chin. Strange sensations! I will post more

details regarding my surgery (pre & post) when I get home to my own

computer. Hoping all is well with my fellow surgery buddies and

wishing the best of luck to you pre-ops out there!
