Guest guest
Hi, I had such a good day yesterday until late in the afternoon when all of a sudden the palms of my hands felt like they were on fire. It was like I put them in boiling oil the pain was so intense. I used cold water, ice packs. Can RP do that or could it be from cleaning products. The products I've used before with no problems but since the dermatitis maybe that made me more sensative. I can't use hair removers anymore because they burn my skin but this really threw me. Now today I'm shot to hell and hurt the same. Any advise is very appreciated...Love, Sue

I would imagine it is the cleaning products. You can develop sensitivity at any age, apparently. Use gloves - it's awkward to begin with, but well worth it. Guest guest
Dear Liz, Never had trouble before I got the what's called perivascular spongiotic dermatitis. I need to make appointment with pcp for next week and will make it a point to tell him. It was just so strange. Still have the dermatitis in some spots but the hands and feet were clearing up fine. Now the hands are all dried out and nothing seems to get them "normal." Have had 5 prescriptions, over the counter crap and nothing touches it. Strange, but hey that's me...Sue

Prednisone always clears my problems up, when cutting down, like now, my hands start getting scaly, as do patches on my arms. These days it doesn't get too bad as I nearly always have to go back up on the pred!! It's an ill wind...love Liz __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Dear Liz, yea I was thinking to go back on the Pred. Need to make an appointment this week with pcp. I've never had skin problems, of course I've never had any of this other b.s. until 9 months ago. Been diagnosed since 98, have had IT since 1980. Guess I need to have a heart to heart with doctor and take him research. Been very tired the last few days too. Don't get it....Oh well...Love, Sue
