Guest guest
Ok folks, this is what I'm thinking. (Watch out!!) Last year my sister and I have flaunted our New Year traditions. We ate at a Mexican restaurant and went to the movies. Now in many ways....this year was.....ok. Not fabulous...just ok. And these last few months....well some of you know just how much they have sucked for me. Now I'm hearing about all these traditional foods and I'm thinking that it's probably better just to roll neked in them cause they will get to my hips and butt that much faster. But nevertheless....I'm taking no chances this year. Pork and sauerkraut for us! I don't have a clue how to make black eyed peas and isn't there something about red beans and rice too? Recipes folks....I need recipes......for 1 normie and 3 posties. email me off list if you like or we can share them with everyone. Taking no chances in Las Vegas, Sue PS and did I mention the tourists are just flocking into town!! Time for the locals to stay off the streets! Guest guest
Here in my town it is the locals we worry about on New Year's Eve. I live in a college town (2 universities, 1 community college) and a few years ago the Gothic look was really in. I think they still like to wear the black at night to party. We know they are there we just can't always see them. Have to drive REAL SLOW around the colleges for fear of hitting one of these mysterious local yocals. Guest guest
Yeah, I know. Sigh. Like I said, did successfully many times, had a coupla duds and decided to go with cans. I may try again, but not unless I have a back up can on the shelf. LOL! After my mouth watering for them all day, I WANT MY B.E. PEAS!
