Hi there Ray! My smoking update: 61 hours without a cigarette.

Yeah me! My surgery is not going to be until August at the soonest,

so I am quitting (or should I say I HAVE quit) smoking way before the

surgery. I, unliike you, am not one for double challenges, and

rather than deal with both challenges, I probably would have just

wound up smoking, so I had to quit before the surgery, if that makes

any sense. I know with my wisdom teeth, even though I was told not

to, I left the doctor's office and immediately proceeded to

contaminate my mouth with all the toxins I could find (neatly rolled

in a piece of paper with a convinient, but apparently useless, filter

at the end). Somewhat self-destructive, but that's what cigarettes

will do to you. So anyway, I have a recipie for you, you are

probably close to " real " food though, so I don't know if you need it

or not. I also am not sure how nutritious it is, but it is really

good. There is juice in it...

ORANGE JULIUS

Ingredients

**************

1 - 6 oz. can frozen orange juice

1 cup milk

1 cup water

1/4 cup sugar (or less to taste)

1 tsp. vanilla

5 - 6 ice cubes

Procedure

*************

Place all ingredients in blender. Blend about 30 seconds. Serve.

Alright, that's all,

Bye-bye

Thanks Kim for the recipe, I'll print it right away!

As for the smoking, I congratulate you... 61 hours, it's close the tougher

mark of 72 hours, at which point, it comes easier. Hang in there, you're

gonna make it, I'm sure! You've done a great thing for you, bravo!

I just had my friend visiting me this evening. My roomate and her smoke

all evening, whitout me feeling the need to have a cigarette. I'd say I'm

passed the trouble zone my self ;-)

It's been 10 days now for me, and still no relapse!! Woohoo!
