As you know, I had full-time help at home with Ken for almost five

years. In the beginning we had a regular in Home health care, but the laws

were changed, and because we could take ken out, it was discontinued. of

course, he would have been totally homebound if I had not had the paid help,

and then he would have qualified for the home health care, but not enough to

get him out. However, when Hospice started helping us, they said they had no

such rule, and we could go away any time we wanted to. BUT, Ken by then was

in such bad shape that he couldn't enjoy a trip out, so he didn't get to go.

It was nice though to have the nurse and the doctor and the bath girl, etc.,

come to him.
