Flaring Nose

Hi Gang,

Lucy here, this is about a nose flaring! Well, I have been under a mound of stress the past few weeks, as I have already mentioned in a previous post, well, I felt my nose tonight while I was getting some help from my grandchildren (two first cousins), to clean my room and I felt a bump on the end of my nose. Then as I felt the rest of the top of my nose, I realized that I have new bumps all over it and already having the normal scabbing on the inside,(not meaning to be gross but anyone who has had nose flares, probably know about the "daily routine" of getting that taken care of!!! I even have a few of those bumps on my upper eye lid. Does any of this sound familiar? When I had nose flares before, they were just mostly red looking nose with a little swelling. I can feel the "tightness" in my nose. I am already starting to feel at least one of those terrible apthus ulcers.

Well, anybody got any info that will tell me what I am really having going on? Anybody have similar symptoms? I know that some of our symptoms can be so unalike that it is almost hard to tell.

Lucy, When my nose flares it just gets red and really sore. I have no bumps.

The bridge of my nose is really painful. I think it was who said the

c pap machine really mad it bad. I can relate to that. I can't wear my c

pap when I am having a nose flare.

Knock on wood, I haven't had a flare in a long time. Hope it stays that way.

Been doing really well. Trying to get the pred down to 11mg, but am having

a harder time. I must just be patient. Will try decreasing it only 1/2 mg

instead of 1mg

Hope you get some answers. Call your dr. Did you ever call about the

pneumonia???? LUcy, you know you should... and I know you probably didn't.

I get constant nose flares. I do not get bumps on the outside but I do get the scabbing, tightness and ulcers. Also have some bleeding when I blow my nose when I have a bad flare.
