Guest guest
My husband was diagnosed last Aug. with shy-dragers. Since then we have been trying to regulate his meds and keep him frompassing out when he gets up. I would like to know how much midrodine and florinef you are taking and what times in the day. Thanks in advance.
Guest guest
Sam takes 15 mg. of midodrine in the a.m., the same at noon, and now at 4 p.m. he takes 10.mg. I know the medicine takes 1/2 to an hour to kick in. That dosage is more than is usually the maximum, as he has had so much trouble with the low bp and still does. The dosage at 4 p.m. used to be at 6, but was just changed a week or two ago--he still gets terribly faint after dinner, but several evenings he has been a little more alert than usual. Of course, as he eats in bed sometimes, it is hard to tell if he is going to faint. Peculiar disease, to say the least. Hang in there.
