Have to give you guys one for the road

I knew that I would leave 2002 with a bang!!! Been having a problem

with the kitchen light and Tim has been " too busy " to fix it, but told

me that if I bang the wood surrounding the light with the broom handle

the vibration would kick in the fluorescent light. Did that all day and

it seemed to work. Well, I'm in the kitchen before, turned on the light

and it's just not kicking on, very dim and can't see much, so grab the

broom and bang on the wood part of the light fixture and then gave it

another swing and hit the light bulb. The whole thing made this God

awful bang sound like a gun was fired, fell on my head and hit the floor

and turned to dust. There are fluorescent glass particles all over my

kitchen and dining room. Man that stuff travels. I am so lucky that I

didn't get cut or get any glass in my eyes. Do have a nice bump on my

head though and got a sliver in my foot, but got it right out. Had to

throw out the baked ziti that I just made and the chicken cutlet parm.

that I made to bring to my friend's house tomorrow. It got in the cats

food dish, counters, sink, everywhere. It's amazing how Tim managed to

make time to clean it up. Now he has to go out tomorrow and buy a new

light fixture. , I'm coming.

I thought you'd be amused at this one. I am officiallyh done with 2002.
