Guest guest
As with most things here, that question evokes varied replies. some folks have found the cool one wonderful -- and since I live down South, I can't imagine adding more warm, steamy air anywhere at this point. But others have found plain old steam, as in a hot shower, or a soaky tub bath, or even a pot of boiling water on the stove, comforting. Folks who had more trouble than I did might want to weigh in on this one. Cammie > Should I use a hot or cold steam vaporizor?--- In
Guest guest
I agree with Jay. I had oxygen with water vapor in the hospital too. I also used a cool mist humidifier seven days post-surgery. It helped a great deal. Dale
Guest guest
I don't know which is best but in the hospital they gave me a cool oxygen with humidity hose thingy that I could sort of hang around my neck when I sleep. It worked really well. The thought of a hot steam thing in the middle of summer doesn't sound that great. Maybe your doctor has an opinion.
