That's the worse part of going to the dr.!!!! One day I'd like to show up

with 3 inch hairs on my legs and tell them if I had the energy, I would have

shaved. LOL

Marilyn, go in there looking like hell.....that's when they really believe

you are sick. I think we all try to look our best and they don't believe

anything we say. I swear I'd love to go in my nightgown one day, hair not

combed etc and say this is what I feel like on most days. LOL I'd probably

scare them so bad that they might do something.

Sue, hope you are feeling better soon. Seems like we are all in some sort of

slump right now. It's time for it to end. Know I'm thinking of you both.

Hope you have a bettter Monday.

hugs

Dear Sue,

Yes, there were lots of interesting things in the article that I

hadn't heard about. I sent the web page on to a couple of friends

who have fibro. My hands and feet are still about the same, I've

been trying to put some cortisone cream on them, but it just gets

washed off. Can't see where it has done much good though.

Sorry to hear you've been really tired the past few days. Take care,

and yes, maybe you should have a talk with your doctor. I go in

tomorrow for my annual checkup. My doc is sort of dumb, so talking

to him is like talking to a fence post. Will have to shave my legs

again in the morning, I guess. Drats!!

Tonight is metho night so I'll really be in great shape to see him

tomorrow. LOL. Maybe I'll just throw up all over his office. LOL.

Love, Marilyn

Dear Marilyn, I think it has hints that I never heard of before so

will try

Hi , next time I go to the doctor I'm going naked. The body is changing with lumps and bumps and muscle tightness but they don't check things. Of course if I went naked it would clear out the office in no time at all. Does anyone remember the old days when doctors did a "complete" physical? I do need to find a new gynocologist as my hrt is on its last month. Does anybody take Avista? Doctor wanted to switch me to that but was scared to change. Love as usual, Sue

Dear Marilyn, you are my idol. How in the hell do you do all you do? Company for two weeks, I'd kill them after 3 days. I'm going to go buy a bunch of Oil of Olay if you read the other posts. Don't we wish there was just a standard treatment for all of this? I have spent more money on prescription ointments and creams for the dermatitis and nothing has helped. Pcp says all this has to just run its course. Its the pits, I think pred is back in my future, ears hurt today. Have been in a funk the last few days so need to do something about that too. Oh well, no one said life was going to be easy. Love you...Sue

Sue, darn Yahoo has done it again... I'm not getting hardly anymail.

If I don't go to the group site I wouldn't know you or anyone else

posted. UGGGHHHH..

Well, now that I have vented..... I think you have a great

idea...going to dr naked. Hey...we might clear the room, but we

would sure get their attention... I was on premarin for years and

was changed last year to Estrace. Like i've said before, my body

just wont keep the hormone level where it should be. I'm due to go

back in Aug, so will see what is happening. From my moods, I thing

they are off. LOL I hate to change drugs too...even though they

don't work. LOL

Lucy here,

Include me, if I don't have two swollen ears and pain to go with them

tomorrow, it will be a suprise to me!!! We had a pow wow with the daughter,

son-in-law, an 11 year old and 9 year old with Meme in the middle trying to

hold it together. Well, I can't stand it when the son-in-law feels

compelled to yell at me too, like I can control things. Yep, I am trying to

control things while my granddaughter is here from South Dakota. It just so

happens that she does not know how to show anyone respect and doesn't mind

yelling at anyone. I think we got the two young ones settled down, as for

the Meme, well, she has a long way to come out of this one!!! My son, (the

granddaughters daddy) came and took her to spend the night at his house,

then she will come back in the morning and I do hope will be calmer than

today. My daughter and son-in-law laid the law down to both of the young

ones. They are to listen to adults be on their toes with manners with how

to treat people.

Is that what you mean by a " funk today " ?

Love and Prayers, Lucy

What is stress? LOL!!!

Yep Lucy,........That is a " funk " . LOL Boy it sounds like you need that

vacation soon. The stress can't be helping you. I hope and pray that things

will get better for you soon. Seems like the whole group has been in this

funk for the whole year. LOL I just know things will turn around for all of

us.

Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I'm here if you need

to talk.

Hugs

Dear , if you take Estrace what do you take for testerone? I always take two pills. One is Estradiol and the other is Medroxprogerterone. From what I understand you need them both. Please tell me if I'm wrong. Love, Sue

Dear Lucy, its tough with the way our kids raise their kids now. If I disrespected my mother years ago I'd be pickin my teeth out of my butt. You must be firm and loving. Children do not disrepect their elders including your son-in-law. He'd be "toast" in my book. You throw him up against a wall and explain the facts. No yelling, no swearing, no bad attitude. Only respect for their elders.....Give em hell girl....Love Sue

Sue, it sounds right to me. I take a product called

Femostan (I think it is of European origin) it is

estradiol, plus dydrogesterone for two weeks. Helps

me!! Love Liz
