Hey-ya, Gig-Gal,

Has anybody ever suggested cranberry pills? Cranberry juice is great

for curbing, even curing some, UTIs, but the juice is full of carbs.

But health stores sell the essential ingredients for UTI care in pill

form.

Actually, I had a chiropractor recommend cranberry pills for UTI's. It

works beautifully. I had completely forgotten about them.

I have always been prone to UTI's and would do cranberry juice but because

of the sugar content no longer do it... Well I started cranberry pills and

NOT had a problem since! (knock on wood)

Happy Holidays!

I love the Ocean Spray Light Cranberry Juice; it's got way fewer

calories than regular juice because it's sweetened with Splenda instead

of corn syrup/sugar... I believe 8 oz is 40 calories instead of 130 or

so. Still not a freebie, but if you miss cranberry juice, it's worth

checking out. I just wish they would expand the line with Light

Cranberry-Tangerine and Light Cranberry-Strawberry... Those are the two

I miss the most! I am sick of Cran-Raspberry and never really liked

Cran-Grape.

Happy New Year!

I forget who makes it, but I love cranapple juice. I am also partial to

crangrape. My big thing though is that I like cranberry so much that I

would drink the WHOLE thing.

Hey Steve-a-reno!!! I dimly remember someone mentioning it, but like

most things....if it doesn't pertain to me at THAT given minute...I

usually file it in my circular file! That would the be BLACK hole that

exists in my head. As soon as the New Year is upon us and the stores

open I will be heading towards a health food store. Would rather do

pills then the juice....even the diet stuff has way too much sugar.

This has become my drink of choice lately, but I still find it too sweet.

So, I mix it with over half water. I go through phases until I get sick of

something. I can no longer handle Crystal Lite, even diluted, it's just way

to sweet for me.

Sounds interesting. Will definitely have to try that.

That is exactly why I don't drink sodas or ANY bottled drinks. They are all

way too sweet for me, regardless of the sweetener used. I'm a " coffee,

black " and home made iced tea person. I can control the amount of sweetness

(or none!) that way. As for fruit juices, I mix them 50/50 with club soda.

Just a little fizz, and way less sweetener...

Judy, are you my twin sister or what. This is really a nice refreshing

drink. I just recently discovered rasberry tea which I like so much

better then peach tea. I get raspberry tea as one of my treats. My

family fell in love with it over Christmas.

Ok I have started a regime of water with fresh lemon and crushed ice.

This is the ONLY way it tastes good to me and I have to get MORE water

into me. Was at a restaurant the other night and the water tasted soooo

good. Well, I think I have figured out it is because of the crushed ice

and the lemon. Keep your fingers crossed. The cranberry juice has

already become icky tasting. The Cipro is making me feel

sick......WAAAAAAAAAA I hate starting a new year this way!!!!!

Ok....sorry for whining! Will try to behave myself and stop feeling

sorry for myself. Sheesh.
