Kaiser Permanente in LA

I'm new to this group, and thinking of going through with the

surgery. Has anyone here been to Kaiser in Los Angeles, or know of

anyone who underwent surgery there? I want to see if the surgeons

there are really as good as my orthodontist suggests.

I may be responding to this too late for your purposes -- hope not.

My ortho also encouraged me to use the Kaiser surgeon in LA -- Dr.

Relle. My ortho adores him, and other patients spoke highly of him as well. He

performed my SARPE about a year ago and did a great job. He's kind and

patient and very easy to talk to. He has been performing these surgeries for

quite a long time and also performs them on a weekly basis, which someone

suggested to me means he's very adept at minimizing nerve damage. The

added bonus, of course, is that Kaiser covers 100 percent of the surgery costs

with no questions asked. I've never had any of my treatment questioned at

any stage of the process.

My second surgery (upper only) is scheduled with Dr. Relle at the end of July.

I feel very confident in his abilities.
