Guest guest
I woke up one day and looked in the mirror and thought, " What on earth is that big lump of flesh in the middle of my face? " Turned out to be my lower lip. Since I wasn't really swollen anywhere else, it really stood out. Most people didn't notice it, though. They were too busy commenting on what color my bruises were that day. " What a lovely shade of green! " I didn't care - I took my fat lip and my lovely bruises, and went about in public as I pleased. I had the right to be bruised and saw no reason to hide it. The only thing that sort of bothered me was the occasional sucking in of spit, which sometimes was loud enough to gain attention.
