Guest guest
> We no longer get selenium from our food today. > 200 mcg of selenium cut cancer (including breast) risks in half. selenium is a mineral we all need and are missing greatly from our diets. there are studies that show marked hdl improvement on just 200mcg. a day. I know a few women who are on medication for their cholesterol and after just a few weeks on selenium their numbers improved so much that their docs were shocked. their docs didn't suggest adding selenium, one of the ladies stumbled onto the study. selenium is not toxic until you top 900mcg. a day and no multi. or single dose even comes that high. selenium is also necessary for the conversion of T4 to T3 in thyroid drugs. if you think your thyroid meds are not quit working for you add some selenium daily. sue
