We are trying to get service related disability for Al. He was on board

a ship in the Marshall Islands during the l947 A bomb testing. Hence he

has cancer. The ship he was on at the time is declared one that was

contaminated.

We are still having to look up some information for the VA.

You know that they have access to all of his records.

Ann,

If I'm not mistaken, all service reccords are in St. Louis. But, You should check with the bracnh of service hw was in (I suspect the Navy). For my dad's records, during the same period of time, they were located in St. Louis, however, they were caught up in that big fire they had aat the record keeping facility several years ago.

Good luck. If I can help you any more, please let me know
