Guest guest
hello everyone! i am 9 days post-op(June 8-surgery) and i just want to say that you guys are incredible! id like to thank each and everyone of you for the helpful insight, encouragement, and support that has gotten me this far! i look in the mirror at least ten times a day and the first few days all i could do was cry when i saw who was looking back at me. because of u guys i knew to expect lots and lots of swelling and bruising and that i t was completely normal. i didnt have any bruising and im happy but i had enough swelling for about three people. but as i look in the mirror today i see what is beginning to be the new and more beautiful person that my surgeon and orthodontist created. my cheeks are still puffy, my bottom lip is huge, i have a double chin that my OS will use lipo to get rid of soon and hey..i couldnt feel better!! i was so skeptical about it but now i know it was all worth it and i cant wait to see the end result. id just like to spread my happiness with all of you out there. to all the pre-oppers out there good luck you'll all do well and will be even more beautiful inside and out! thanks everyone. have a blessed recovery and lets continue to help each other out. -Krystal

Guest guest
Hello Krystal, Glad to hear that you are feeling better. I felt like it took about one week to feel " human " again. It will take some time for all of the swelling to go down, so try to stay patient with that. Best wishes for continued good healing. a > hello everyone! i am 9 days post-op(June 8-surgery) and i just want > to say that you guys are incredible! id like to thank each and > everyone of you for the helpful insight, encouragement, and support > that has gotten me this far! i look in the mirror at least ten times > a day and the first few days all i could do was cry when i saw who > was looking back at me. because of u guys i knew to expect lots and > lots of swelling and bruising and that i t was completely normal. i > didnt have any bruising and im happy but i had enough swelling for > about three people. but as i look in the mirror today i see what is > beginning to be the new and more beautiful person that my surgeon > and orthodontist created. my cheeks are still puffy, my bottom lip > is huge, i have a double chin that my OS will use lipo to get rid of > soon and hey..i couldnt feel better!! i was so skeptical about it > but now i know it was all worth it and i cant wait to see the end > result. id just like to spread my happiness with all of you out > there. to all the pre-oppers out there good luck you'll all do well > and will be even more beautiful inside and out! thanks everyone. > have a blessed recovery and lets continue to help each other out. > -Krystal
