Guest guest
Hi gang, I'm sorry I haven't posted for a while nor been in chats much lately. At 's urging I'm posting an update. ( TY :-) ). I have been undergoing numerous test and procedures, so we will start there. Even after having my gall bladder removed and going off the octreotide I was still having occasional unbearable tummy pains. I have found 3 Great doctors and things are moving along. I had a colonoscopy last Tues. Part the way through my colon spasmed and closed. The doctor said it was the most unusal she had ever seen, but does help with perhaps understanding the big picture. The thinking now is that my stomach is also going into spasms and since I am stimuli active on spasms all over, this makes sense. Tuesday I saw a new cardio and he put me back on the octreotide, ordered an echo and monitor. If the octreotide helps bp, but the bradycardia is still a problem then a pacemaker is in order. I had an updated MRI and will get those results on the 6th. I am also scheduled for an updated cat scan to monitor the cysts in the liver and kidneys on the 6th. However, Life in these hills isn't all doc stuff. I recently re- started my business and it is booming. I decided whatever this is has robbed me enough and I am going to get all out of me I can. Re-hab has helped me learn to work w/ my disabilites and the company giving away a caribbean cruise does inspire ya. I love what I do and it's not physical so it's working out great. I think thats the update for now. I have missed my friends here and I do apologize for not keeping current. I will catch you more after the 16th. Take care.. w/ big ole' WV hugs...... Guest guest
Rose, Glad to see you back and posting. I'm sorry that the doc's needed two pages to list what is wrong with you....(sick humor here).... I'm also glad that rehab helped you so much. What is the business that you are doing that is " booming? " We will be praying for you on the 6th when you go through all your tests and will be praying that everything tested looks good.
