Guest guest
Hi group, Has there been any further word on the Chicago Conference? Definite dates and place? I thought maybe I've missed it on the list. Thanks,
Guest guest
. Not sure if you got the word. I was gone this weekend when it came through... Here is what I got from Pam (which is what she got from Don - plus some of her own work...) -------------- Hi, I got this update from Don Summers about the Chicago MSA conference. It is being arranged for the weekend of September 14th. Hopefully there is enough information below for you to start making your plans to attend. Since Nan Todd is making the final arrangements I think she would be the one that you contact to let her know how many in your family will be attending. She will need this count to make the arrangements for the food service. There will be NO CHARGE to attend the conference sessions. Nan's email is nantodd@... I've looked up the number for the Chicago O'Hare Airport Hilton Hotel so you can call to book a room if you wish. I expect most people attending will stay at this hotel. Tel: Fax: Regards, Pam Chicago meeting Hi Pam, I'm finally getting settled down at home again! The Chicago meeting is set for Sept. 13th-15th. Arrangements are in process for the meetimng to be held at the Chicago O'Hare Airport Hilton Hotel. Nan Todd is making those arrangements. The physicians that have committed to attend the meeting so far are Dr. Janice Gilden of Chicago, Dr. Tom Chelimsky of Cleveland, and Dr. on of Vanderbilt. I believe that there will be a movement disorder specialist from the Chicago area as well but have no confirmation as yet. The meeting schedule will be the same as those planned in the past: Friday evening, social hour and get acquainted time, Saturday morning, Breakfast at 8:00, Meeting starting at 9:00 with physician presentations, and continuing through the day with breakout sessions for the patients, caregivers and family members. Our plan is to have the Saturday meeting last no later than 4:00 PM. Sunday morning, Breakfast at 9:00 followed by a short Support Group business meeting and time of overall sharing. The snacks at the social hour, breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, break time snacks and lunch to be provided by the SDS/MSA Support Group. The topics to be addressed by the physicians haven't been provided to me as yet but I'm sure that they will be good! All the information will be put up on the website and on the e-mail list as soon as all the details have been filled in! -------------------- > Hi group, > Has there been any further word on the Chicago Conference?
