Guest guest
No ticket. He could have really socked it to me because I was going 37 in a 25 and didn't have my seat belt buckled. I turned on the tears and told him I was sick, and just wanted to get home, and that this was the very first time in my life I had ever been stopped. What he didn't know was it's the first time in my life I had ever been " caught " . Love, Marilyn
Guest guest
Boy girlfriend you really lucked out. LOL Good job.. I know you probably felt that way and just wanted to get home. I have had those days too. I'm glad he was a kind officer. Are you feeling any better. I sure hope so... Please know I'm thinking of you. Guest guest
Dear Marilyn, so very cute about the cop. I feel the same way, I speed, don't wear seat belt alot and never been stopped. My husband is so damn paranoid about the police it drives me nuts. He thinks every cop he see's is out to get him. I try to tell him to drive with confidence. If your in a 55 you go at least 62. He see's a cop and goes 53, those are the ones who are going to be picked up. Cop wonders what your hiding. Dah....Have a great weekend. Guest guest
Dear Marilyn, We need to get these two husbands together. They are frickin twins! You are fine, don't worry. I don't think they take plate numbers down. It just sets you back a bit when you get a scare. I just don't get why men are so paranoid about police. What do they have to hide?? Mine did not rob a bank...if not I'd know that. We'd have money..Ha...Love, Sue
Guest guest
Hi Sue Marth, My husband is paranoid about cops too, he drives sooo slow around town, when he drives, I could probably walk along side the truck and keep up with him. I wasn't going to explain to the cop that I am deaf in one ear and that's why I didn't hear his sirens for a mile while he tried to chase me down. I'm afraid he would have taken my license away from me. Oh well, I am now trying to remember to buckle up and drive slower around town. That'll last about a week then I'll be back to my old tricks. Take care, good to hear from you. Love, Marilyn Dear Marilyn, so very cute about the cop. I feel the same way, I speed, > don't wear seat belt alot and never been stopped.
