Guest guest
Hi Sandy, Your post about your white count was interesting because Monday when I went for my check up, they drew blood. By Tuesday I was flaring and the doctor said my white count was elevated. There must be a connection. This is all rather new to me about the blood counts. The doctor didn't think it was elevated enough to worry about though. At least that's what he told me. Wish it was him with the flare instead of me. LOL. Guest guest
I know that the pred will cause the white count to go high too. Mine is always higher when I have to increase my pred and takes a long time to come down. C
Guest guest
, My white count has been high for 12 years, only been on Pred. for 2 1/2 years. My high white count indicates inflammation according to my Rheumy. Sandy > I know that the pred will cause the white count to go high too.
