Dr. Ray, we've been spreading/sharing our flowers pretty well the last few

years. I had to check, the heat has cooked everything so bad here. We have

some orange day lilies one sees so much along the roads; some D'oro lilies

about 18 " yellow, that doesn't grow too fast (a lot of businesses are using

them in their landscapes; our 'naked ladies' or surprise lilies are just

peeking above the soil (they send their foliage up in the spring and then a

tall naked stem pops up late summer with 3-6 blooms). Let me know if any of

these have any appeal.

Ohhhh Vera and Bill, you would have to mention See's chocolates! Just makes

my mouth water-they are the best! Do you have an address for them? I have a

couple 'special' days coming up, doesn't hurt to make a request, LOL.

Bill, I finally got our Knox box installed, that's a good feeling. We just

got a small one, Jim bulked at the price. But heck, with price of doors now

(we had new ones installed front and back) it's worth it. Dodie in MO

You mentioned Naked Ladies....for the first time in 27 years we have NONE!!! Green foilage was beautiful, but no stems. I wonder if we've lost all of them? The plants look dead, but they always do until the spring. Gosh, after the terrible fire here in Santa Barbara over ten years ago the naked ladies came back....so I don't think it's lack of water. Just makes me sick, I love those flowers.

Any of those bulbs you would like to get rid of would be great. Let me know postage or other costs.
