Guest guest Posted August 9, 2002 Report Share Posted August 9, 2002 Hi all. I realize I'm rather unique. Can't recall what Bill called it - but he had a word for it (one I've seen on MSA sites...) Anyway, I realize not all have digestive problems. I'm having a doosie right now though. Seems any time I put anything in my mouth - it causes contractions in my belly. Neuro at Mayo explained it as my body not communicating with itself - and part of intestines contracting and part just setting there. Interesting though how it can happen when I just put food in (of course - the digestive process IS triggered by food entering the mouth - I remember that much from my A & P class :-) Catch ya later.
