Guest guest
Dear ShyDrager.com friends, You need to know this if you have chronic UTI's or urinary incontinence. There is a phenomenon called Urethral Diverticulum. See it at www.emedicine.com My sister has been having infection after infection. They finally did a urinary examine and found she has a urethral diverticulum....a small pocket on the urethral that has formed probably from the constant urinary incontinence or chronic UTI's or both. A surgical repair will be required. But here is the thing....It causes constant infections and infections make MSA patients feel unbelievably awful. Celeste has been in and out of the hospital since last fall with infections. They put her on IV antibiotics and in a couple days she comes back to life. They send her home and it starts all over again. Loss of movement, extreme pain, fatigue. Please if you are having recurrent infections have your Urologist evaluate you for a Urethral Diverticulum. Be pushy about it. Best Regards, Dawn Morley dawnmorley@...
