> Hi :

> Guess you can tell I didn't go to bed yet. I know I should be in

bed,

YES, YOU SHOULD HAVE - ESPECIALLY WHEN DUE TO GET UP AT 4 A.M. AND

GET YOUR HUBBY OUT FOR FISHING :-)

OF COURSE, WHO AM I TO TALK?

:-)

I have lots of work to do tomorrow, but if I don't get it done, it

will be there the next day.

YEP. JUST A BIT TALLER :-)

I stopped making plans along time ago. It seems when I do , something

happen's and it doesn't happen. So I stopped planning along time ago.

WELL, IF I WAS SMART, I PROBABLY WOULD TOO - BUT... NO ONE HAS

ACCUSED ME OF BEING SMART LATELY :-)

PLUS, OLD HABITS DIE SLOWLY - AND I'VE BEEN A LIST MAKER AND

OVERACHIEVER FOR DECADES! :-)

Hey! guess what you were right the pc chair , is the computer chair.

HEY! ALL RIGHT! CHALK ONE UP FOR ME! HORAY!

Fred has a computer that he plays games on and I have this one here

to do the looky look stuff on.

BUMMER. AT LEAST YOU GET TO SEE THE OTHERS.

I'LL SEND YOU PICS OF OUR 3 IF YOU WANT, AND YOU CAN ADOPT ME AS A

SON - OKAY? :-)

MY PARENTS HAVE 9 GRANDKIDS TOO - 4 BOYS AND 5 GIRLS TOO! AND...

THEIR SON HAS 3 OF THOSE GIRLS. HOW COINCIDENTAL - HUH?!

I don't

Fred is

WELL, AFTER I FINISH INSTALLING THE ATTIC STAIRS, I HAVE 2

BOOKSHELVES WHICH WILL BE BUILT-IN UNITS TO INSTALL. THEN I HAVE A

BATHROOM TO FINISH PLUMBING. I HAD IT ALL SET UP - BUT THAT WAS FOR

OUR OLD TUB/SHOWER UNIT. GOT NEW ONES - AND WOULDN'T YOU KNOW -

THEY'RE TOTALLY DIFFERENT! SO, GOTTA DO MAJOR CUT AND PASTE - PIPES

AND FLOOR AND ALL! THEN, STILL HAVE ANOTHER BATH AND HALF TO FINISH

AND THEN ONE MORE TO REDO (YES - OUR HOUSE IS A BIT PALACIAL -

BUT... WE HAVE 3 GIRLS :-)

I ALSO NEED TO REDO THE ROOF. OUR HOUSE IS NEW (WE'RE BUILDING IT -

LITERALLY - WE!) I FOLLOWED THE INSTRUCTIONS OF THE ROOFING MATERIAL

GUYS - BUT IT'S LEAKING, SO I NEED TO PULL IT OFF AND START OVER.

HOWEVER, MY WIFE IS NOT TOO KEEN ON ME GETTING BACK UP THERE (I HAD

TO SNEAK UP EACH TIME THIS PAST WINTER WHEN I CLEANED OUT THE

CHIMNEYS). PERHAPS THE ROOF WILL KEEP FOR ANOTHER YEAR. JUST HATE

TO SEE THAT NEW SHEETROCK GETTING RUINED!

WHAT DO YOU THINK? THINK I LEAD A BORING LIFE - DON'T YOU? :-)

THAT'S NOTHING COMPARED TO THE ENTIRE LIST. I HAVE A 4 STORY BARN TO

FINISH TOO. THIS DISEASE KINDA CAUGHT ME UNPREPARED :-)

> Did your girls eat all the Monkey Bread? I still think it would go

good with

> a cup of coffee.

YEP - SORRY. NONE LEFT TO SEND YOU :-)

>

> So what do you do for a living? Some kind of job that you can do

at home

> sometimes?

PROMISE YOU WON'T STOP CHATTING IF I TELL YOU?

I'M A PSYCHO. I HAVE A MASTER'S IN COUNSELING/PRE-CLINICAL PSYCH.

SOMEHOW I SEEM TO HAVE DEVELOPED A FORTE IN WORKING WITH THE

DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED. I ALSO WORK WITH BEHAVIORAL PROBLEMS IN

GENERAL - INCLUDING CHILDREN. I AM ACTUALLY FORMALLY TRAINED TO DO

NEARLY EVERYTHING - FROM FORMAL ASSESSMENT TO LONG-TERM THERAPY (AND

SHORT-TERM THERAPY). I WAS JUST BRANCHING OUT INTO MORE BROAD

THERAPY OPTIONS WHEN I WAS STRUCK WITH THIS. WAS QUITE A BUMMER, AS

I WAS APPROACHING AN INCOME I NEVER FIGURED I'D SEE IN MY LIFETIME.

NOW, WE'RE WONDERING IF WE'LL BE ABLE TO KEEP OUR HOUSE. AMAZING HOW

A YEAR CAN CHANGE SO MUCH! ANYWAY, MUCH OF WHAT I DO - I CAN DO FROM

HOME, AS IT INVOLVES WRITING REPORTS AND BEHAVIORAL TREATMENT PLANS.

>

> How is Donnalee feeling now? I hope she is better.

YEP. SHE DID MUCH BETTER TODAY. SHE IS RESILIENT! ONE TOUGH

COOKIE. VIRUS STUFF NEVER SEEMS TO STAY LONG WITH HER. WITH ME - IT

ALWAYS SEEMED TO STAY LONG - KINDA LIKE THE " LIVE LONG AND PROSPER "

SAYING - BUT IT WAS ONLY SO WHEN IT WAS WELCOMED INTO MY BODY. THINK

I WAS ALWAYS THAT WAY THOUGH. WHAT IS INTERESTING IS... I NO LONGER

SEEM TO BE THIS WAY. I DON'T GET SICK - NORMAL SICK - ANYMORE. OR

HAVEN'T ANYWAY - AND I USED TO CATCH ANYTHING THAT WAS GOING AROUND.

MY ALT. MED. DOC SAYS THAT PERHAPS IT'S BECAUSE CERTAIN THINGS ARE

CONTRARY - AND THESE ILLNESSES CANNOT COHABITATE WITH WHATEVER ELSE

IS GOING ON. WOULDN'T THAT BE GREAT? IF ONE DISEASE CAUSED YOUR

BODY TO NOT BE ABLE TO GET OTHER THINGS? WE'LL SEE. I FIGURE GOD

JUST KNOWS WHAT I CAN HANDLE - AND AT THIS POINT - THIS IS ALL I CAN

HANDLE. AS I SAID - WE'LL SEE.

> Well about to fall asleep here, so I need to call it's quits.

DID YOU GET ANYTHING DONE TODAY? HOW'S THE YARD? OR DID YOU JUST

SLEEP - ENJOY YOUR QUIET AND TOTAL LACK OF RESPONSIBILITY WHILE FRED

WAS AWAY - BET IT WAS A NICE BREATHER!

>

> Have a nice day tomorrow . Do something that is fun.

WELL, I DO SOMETHING FUN EVERY DAY. I MAKE SURE I TAKE TIME OUT FOR

OUR GIRLS ON A DAILY BASIS - MANY TIMES DAILY WHEN I CAN - WHICH IS

BASICALLY ANY DAY NOW :-)

I ALWAYS TAKE BREAKS AND JOKE AND KID AND ROUGHHOUSE WITH THEM. AS

PER ADVICE OF A NEWFOUND FRIEND, WE ARE VIDEOTAPING MORE OF THIS NOW.

BY THE WAY, I HAD CONTEMPLATED JUST EMAILING THIS TO YOU - BUT

DECIDED BECAUSE OF THIS NEXT PART - THAT I'D JUST POST A RESPONSE...

THE DAY WAS BRIEF AT SILVER DOLLAR CITY. BUT LONG ENOUGH. WE GOT A

LATE START (NO SURPRISE FOR THE NANDICO FAMILY - MY END ANYWAY).

THAT WAS NOT BAD THOUGH. WE MISSED MOST OF THE RAIN - AND GOT TO

ENJOY THE PARK - AFTER IT HAD EMPTIED OUT A BIT. AFTER 3 HOURS, I

WAS NO LONGER ABLE TO ENJOY THE RIDES. I SAT ONE OUT, ONE WHICH HAD

A LONG LINE - AND WHICH GAVE ME A MUCH NEEDED BREAK (BUT IT'S NOT

LIKE WE'D RIDDEN RIDES FOR 3 HOURS SOLID EITHER...) AFTER THE BREAK,

I ENDED UP RIDING SOME MORE RIDES. GIRLS WANTED ME THERE - AND I

WANTED TO DO WITH THEM.

I DID ONE LAST RIDE - WHICH CAPPED OFF A MERE 4 HOUR DAY THERE. THAT

RIDE MESSED ME UP. GAVE ME A HEADACHE - AND I REALIZED I PROBABLY

SHOULD NOT RIDE THOSE RIDES ANYMORE. PROBABLY - BUT IN SOME WAYS,

I'M RATHER FOOLISH.

ANYWAY, IT WAS EVIDENT FROM TODAY THAT I WILL BENEFIT FROM A

WHEELCHAIR AT DISNEYLAND. AFTER THE LAST RIDE - I WAS DOING GOOD TO

WALK AT ALL - REALLY. BEFORE THE LAST 2, I WAS WALKING MAINLY WITH

SUPPORT FROM MY WIFE AND ONE CHILD. YEP - I DON'T KNOW HOW OR WHEN

TO CALL IT QUITS - BUT... MY ELDEST HAD REALLY WANTED TO RIDE THIS

ONE RIDE - IT'S HER FAVORITE. AT LEAST I HAD THE SMARTS TO NOT RIDE

IT A SECOND TIME. GIVE ME A LITTLE CREDIT :-)

CATCH YA LATER. HOPE YOUR ABSENCE HERE MEANS YOU ARE TAKING A MUCH

NEEDED BREATHER.

ME? AFTER ALL THE EXCITEMENT, I ENDED UP STAYING AWAKE JUST LONG

ENOUGH TO MAKE SURE DONNALEE KNEW HOW TO GET HOME - THEN I WAS GONE -

ALL THE REST OF THE WAY HOME. FIGURED I'D SLEEP ALL NIGHT - BUT I

HADN'T EATEN ANYTHING ALL DAY - AND KNEW I NEEDED TO PUT SOMETHING IN.

NOW? IT'S RUNNING IN REVERSE ORDER. I SAY THAT THE PERISTALSYS JUST

SHORT-CIRCUITS AND RUNS IN REVERSE ON ME AFTER A WHILE. WHATEVER IT

IS - LOOKS LIKE I'LL BE UP A WHILE LONGER.

> Take Care

> Vera

YOU TOO. I'VE GOTTA GO NOW. EYES ARE REALLY MESSING UP. DON'T SEEM

TO HAVE THE TRACKING PROBLEM OTHERS DO - MINE IS A PROBLEM WITH

FOCUS, 3-D EVEN IN 2-D ITEMS, EYE SPASMS WHICH CAUSE IT ALL TO SHAKE,

LOTS OF STUFF THAT EVEN THE NEURO-OPHTHO CAN'T EXPLAIN (BUT SAYS HE

DOES SEE - JUST CAN'T EXPLAIN IT).

HAVE A GREAT ONE!
