Will a low dose of antibiotic lead to immunity? Is one antibiotic preferred over another? I have been told by a urologist that the best preventive measure for stopping recurrent infections is to make sure the urine in the bladder stays acetic. There are several medications and foods which acidify the urine, one of the best is cranberry juice or tablets.
