Boy :

You had someday didn't you? You really do need to watch some of those rides and rest between them (in the shade somewhere) It isn't good to get overheated with the MSA, you pay the price for it. When you go to Disneyland they have wheel chair's there to rent, make sure that you get one. It will be so much better for you and you'll enjoy it more. Plus you can go to the front of the line and you get on the rides sooner. :o) read this web link it tells you all about disneyland >> Disney.com's Guests with Disabilities >>> Disneyland Resort . Or maybe you should rent one when your in Santa Barbara. Just look in the phone book for medical supply's . Some of them rent them by the week & etc. My girl friend hurt her foot and couldn't walk on it for weeks. She rented a wheel chair it was $45 for two weeks. Just make sure you do what you need to not to over do and drink lot's of water. Plus eat even if it's just small amount a few times aday, but you need to. Now do I sound like your mother or what? :o)

I just loafed yesterday, had lunch with my son and didn't get anything done that needed to be done, but like I said I don't plan anything anymore. If it get's done ok, if it doesn't it's there tomorrow. Guess I'm right it's still here waiting for me to do it.

So you work with behavioral problems in children. That's what my son and I were talking about yesterday when he took me to lunch. His oldest son is really a hand full. Something need's to be done, but not sure what. One doctor said it was AD/HD but then another said no. So they are still trying to find out what it is. I hope it will be soon, I hate to see a child lost because something was done to late.

I could sit here all day and talk, but I must now push myself to do what need's to be done. So will say good bye for now.

Take care and don't overdo.

YES. PAUL IS A BOY :o)

YEP. AND I HAD " SOME DAY " TODAY TOO. PAYBACK? NAW - I DON'T THINK

SO - JUST THAT EVER-UNPREDICTABLE CYCLING MY BODY GOES THROUGH.

You really do need to watch some of those rides

WELL. THAT MAY BE TRUE. THINK I'M GOING TO HAVE TO GIVE SOME MORE

THOUGHT AS TO WHAT RIDES I RIDE OR NOT. I KNOW MANY OF THEM SAY I

SHOULDN'T RIDE - BECAUSE I HAVE LIKE HALF THE THINGS ON THE LIST THEY

POST AS TO WHO SHOULDN'T RIDE THE RIDE. BUT... I (USED TO ANYWAY)

THINK THEY'RE FUN. PLUS, I'M NOT GOING TO STOP LIVING BECAUSE OF

THIS CRUD.

> and rest between them (in the shade somewhere)

WELL... ACTUALLY... I'D HATE TO ADMIT IT - BUT GUESS I WILL... I

DID REST IN BETWEEN MOST. IN FACT, WE ONLY RODE MAYBE 6 RIDES IN THE

4 HOURS. SILVER DOLLAR CITY IS NOT ALL THAT INTO RIDES. MORE THAN

THEY USED TO HAVE - BUT STILL MAINLY AN ENTERTAINMENT (SHOW-TYPE)

PLACE.

It isn't good to get overheated with the MSA, you pay the price for

it.

WELL, I DON'T THINK I GOT OVERHEATED. HARD TO KNOW WHEN YOU DON'T

SWEAT ANYMORE. YOU KNOW? BUT... IT WAS A COOL DAY - VERY ATYPICAL -

WHICH IS WHY WE DECIDED TO GO AHEAD AND GO. PLUS, HALF THE RIDES WE

WENT ON - WE GOT WET - WHICH KEPT US EVEN COOLER (ME TOO COOL I THINK)

When you go to Disneyland they have wheel chair's there to rent, make

sure that you get one. It will be so much better for you and you'll

enjoy it more.

WELL, AFTER YESTERDAY - THAT IS A CINCH! NO DOUBT ABOUT IT NOW. I

MEAN, IF I CAN'T HANDLE 4 HOURS AT SILVER DOLLAR CITY, I CERTAINLY

CAN'T HANDLE 12 OR MORE HOURS AT DISNEYLAND. SO... WE'LL RENT A

CHAIR. NO BIGGIE. I'LL LEARN TO HUMBLE MYSELF. THOUGH... I MUST

ADMIT... I LOOKED UPON THOSE IN CHAIRS WITH DISDAIN YESTERDAY.

ODD. I NEVER LOOKED AT THEM THAT WAY BEFORE. MORE LIKELY THAT I WAS

DISGUSTED THAT I WILL BE THERE NEXT TIME. DONNALEE IS ENCOURAGING ME

TO GO AHEAD AND GET ONE NEXT TIME WE GO TO SILVER DOLLAR CITY. THEY

HAVE POWER ONES (SDC IS IN THE OZARK MOUNTAINS - BEAUTIFUL - BUT ALL

HILLS - WHICH I HAVE HERETOFOR THOUGHT OF AS GREAT EXERSIZE, BUT...

AS I SAID... YESTERDAY WAS VERIFICATION OF A NEED - NOT A

PERCEPTION - BUT A TRUE NEED - AND FURTHER REGRESSION.)

Plus you can go to the front of the line and you get on the rides

sooner. :o)

WELL, AS I SAID... I THINK I'LL HAVE TO START RETHINKING SOME OF

THESE RIDES. SOME JUST FLAT MADE ME FEEL SICK - HEADACHE - DIZZY -

OR INCREASED MY NAUSEA PROBLEMS. I WAS SUPER GLAD I DIDN'T EAT UNTIL

WE WERE DONE WITH EVERYTHING - AND THAT WAS JUST AFTER THE RIDE THERE

(WE HAVE TWISTY CURVEY ROADS HERE :0)

read this web link it tells you all about disneyland >>

WILL ONE DAY BE ENOUGH THERE? FAMILY IS GOING TO TREAT FOR ONE DAY

FOR THE GIRLS - BUT WE'RE CONSIDERING STAYING FOR A SECOND. WHAT DO

YOU RECOMMEND? OUR GIRLS ARE AGES 6, 7, AND 11.

WELL, THAT IS SOMETHING TO CONSIDER. I'M JUST NOT SURE. I WILL

LIKELY WANT TO JUST DO AS MUCH AS I CAN... BUT, YOU'RE PROBABLY

RIGHT. I PROBABLY SHOULD GET ONE AND USE IT ANY TIME WE'RE OUT

WALKING MUCH OR ANYTHING. I'M SURE THE GIRLS WOULD HAVE FUN PUSHING

ME. YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW HARD THAT IS FOR ME TO SAY THOUGH...

WELL... THEN AGAIN... FROM WHAT YOU'VE SAID ABOUT FRED... YOU DO

KNOW. :o)

Just make sure you do what you need to not to over do and drink

lot's of water. Plus eat even if it's just small amount a few times

aday, but you need to.

WELL, MAIN PROBLEM WITH THAT LAST BIT OF ADVICE IS THAT IF I EAT,

THERE IS A HIGH LIKELIHOOD THAT I'LL BE VOMITING WITHIN 3 HOURS.

SOMETIMES IT'S IMMEDIATE, AND SOMETIMES DELAYED. SO... I'LL LIKELY

JUST EAT IN THE EVENINGS IF THERE ARE ANY ACTIVITIES PLANNED.

ALTHOUGH - I HAVE GOTTEN GOOD AT FINDING RESTROOMS - AND MY FAMILY

HAS GOTTEN GOOD AT BEING PATIENT IN PARKS AND SUCH WHILE MY BODY

REMOVES WHAT DID NOT SETTLE.

Now do I sound like your mother or what? :o)

NAW. MY MOTHER WORRIES MUCH MORE THAN THAT :0)

> I just loafed yesterday, had lunch with my son and didn't get

anything done

CAREFUL - YOU'LL SOUND LIKE ME!

anymore. If it

> get's done ok, if it doesn't it's there tomorrow. Guess I'm right

it's still

:o) YEP. BET IT IS. UNLESS YOU HAD SOME NICE NEIGHBOR BOY WHO CAME

AND TOOK CARE OF IT FOR YOU.

WANT A SIMPLE ADHD TEST? HAVE YOUR SON GIVE HIM COFFEE. NO SUGAR.

HE CAN HAVE ALL THE CREAM HE WANTS, BUT NO SUGAR OR COCOA OR STUFF IN

THERE. AS BLACK AS HE CAN TOLERATE IT. THEN, SEE IF HE IS ANY

BETTER. I CAN GIVE ALL SORTS OF OTHER ADVICE AND RECOMMENDED

(FORMAL) TESTS AS WELL. HAVE HIM TRY THE COFFEE TEST FIRST THOUGH.

COFFEE IS A STIMULANT, AND TRUE ADHD PEOPLE DO NOT GET ENOUGH

STIMULATION FROM LIFE - SO THEY STIMULATE THEMSELVES. THERE'S

NOTHING WRONG WITH MEDICATING IF IT TRULY IS ADHD - BUT... AS I

IMAGINE YOU ARE WELL AWARE - THERE ARE MANY CHILDREN MISLABELED.

THERE IS ALSO A SPECIAL TREATMENT CENTER IN CA WHERE THEY TREAT ADHD

WITHOUT MEDS. MY OLD BOSS SAID THAT THIS WAS A POSSIBILITY WITH

NEARLY ANY ADHD CASE - BUT THAT IT TYPICALLY TOOK MORE EFFORT THAN

ANYONE WAS WILLING TO MAKE.

LET ME KNOW IF I CAN BE OF ANY HELP. HOW OLD IS THE BOY? PUBLIC

SCHOOLED?

>

OK. GOOD BYE FOR NOW.

>

> Take care and don't overdo.

WELL - THAT WASN'T A PROBLEM TODAY (OR YESTERDAY REALLY - I MEAN -

COME ON NOW - 4 HOURS AT AN AMUSEMENT PARK! OVERDO?!?!? PERHAPS

WHAT REALLY GOT ME DOWN WAS SEEING JUST WHAT I COULD - OR COULDN'T -

HANDLE!)

TODAY, MY BODY WOULDN'T EVEN LET ME DO THAT. BY EARLY AFTERNOON - I

WAS ONLY HALF DONE WITH WHAT I WANTED TO HAVE DONE BY 11:30 A.M. -

AND THEN... I GOT NOTHING ELSE DONE. DID GO LOOK AT PUPPIES WITH MY

GIRLS THIS EVENING THOUGH - THAT WAS IMPORTANT - RIGHT?

:o)

Hi :

I can see your in a silly mood today :o).. that's good, always nice to have a laugh. Me! I'm not sure I'm awake yet. Seem's like a very short night last night and I've already had to help Fred up off the ground from a fall. Still not asking for help , when he should. You would think I would have arms this big from picking up 250lbs all the time, but I don't . Do have to say the arms are getting sore, that's for sure.

Now you ask what do I recommend for Disneyland. I recommend lot's and lots of money :o) but I also think if you haven't been there before and the ages your girls are ,two days would be nice to go if you can afford it. They also have the California part, that is extra to get into there, but you can get a package ticket. Not sure if they have a package ticket for more then one day, but I do know they have one that you can get into it more then one time and that maybe the way to go, even if you just can use it the two times. Disneyland is big and it has alot to see. Last time I went was last year , but that was to the California part just before it open . My daughter worked there then and we got in to see it with her. Only went into one ride, but did that twice. That was the soaring ride. Liked that and it would be a good ride for you. Nice place to cool off, but like I said it's extra to get in there.

Thank you for the suggestion on the AD/HD. I'll have to tell my son. His getting to where he doesn't know what to do. is 8 , so something needs to be done now, before it get's to late to help him.

I hope you feel better today and you have a good one. I need to go and finish the yard work that I started yesterday. I can hear it calling me. So guess I'll get started, even if I'd rather just sit here. Guess I got to do , what I got to do.

TakeCare
