Guest guest
Barbara, A urinary antiseptic is a drug which sterilizes the urine in the bladder. The one I am most familiar with is methyamine hip. It sterilizes the urine by converting to formaldehyde in the bladder. It was sold in the past under the name "Urex" and Hipurex. I am not sure that acidifying the urine with cranberry juice or tablets might be just as effective. God Bless, Judy & Jim Stark UTI What is a urinary antiseptic?
