Guest guest Posted August 16, 2002 Report Share Posted August 16, 2002 My husband Ken suffered many UTI's and was hospitalized a couple times, with bleeding in the urinary tract. After the doctor prescribed a maintenance dose of macrobid, which I gave him daily, he only had one or two mild infections the rest of his life. May not work for others, but it sure worked for him.
