Got home this morning from the hospital. For anybody who may not

know, I had my lower jaw moved back and my lower wisdom teeth

removed. Jaws are wired shut at least until Monday. Surgery was

Tuesday. My dad took some pics on Tuesday and Wednesday with his

digital camera, so as soon as he emails them to me I'll post them on

here, along with a before pic. The nurses and surgeon were very

pleased with how my face looks. I have very little bruising

WHATSOEVER. My parents were pleased too- although my poor dad was

only able to look at me in the recovery room for about 15 seconds. I

think he almost got sick. lol. I think I look like Charlize Theron

from " Monster " but then that's just my opinion. Good luck to

everyone, especially those who haven't had surgery yet! You can do

it!!

You are so positive . I have mine tomorrow. Upper and lower,

chin and splitting of roof of mouth. I went out for my last supper

tonight and am about to go to bed. i have to be at the hospital

tomorrow at 6am.i feel like this is an odd dream at this point. Can't

wait to be on the other side. Nighty night!

Welcome to the other side !

I'm glad you're doing so well. You may still develop some bruising -

mine didn't appear until a few days after my surgery. But they went

away pretty quickly.

Charlize didn't look that bad in " Monster "

I looked like Fat from Friends My mom actually thought I

looked better all swollen (that's what she said - I think she just

liked my chubby cheeks)
