Guest guest
Good Morning, The Good Just a quick note to let you know that my daughter's tests went well yesterday. There is still plenty of amniotic fluid for baby Logan at this point. She will have to have weekly non-stress tests until he is born. The ultrasound was so neat--and he is definitely a boy! They even took a picture of his hair, and he seems to have lots of it. It is floating in the amniotic fluid, so looked as if he had a big spiked " do " . So cute! The Bad We got a call last night from a relative telling us that my husbands dad is not expected to live more than a couple more days. We had been to see him on the 8th, and so knew this call would not be long in coming. He is 97 years old and this will definitely be a release for him. Sad for my mother in-law and all the brothers, sisters, and other family members. Say a prayer as we head out this morning to go see him again. The Ugly I'm fresh out of wittisisms, so I'll have to suffice for the ugly this morning. If you could see me right now, you would have to agree. The curling iron has not touched this head yet, and it is a scary thing! Hope you all have a wonderful day. We'll be home sometime tomorrow, by the way. Love, Sharon

We got home last evening after two days of sitting in the nursing home. Jim's dad is still hanging on, but just barely. He is on morphine injections every 2-4 hours now. When they try for an oxygen saturation level, they can't even get a reading. But, he is still fighting! It won't be long though. He has had a very long life, and a good life to boot! We know where he will be when he dies, so that is a great comfort! Hope your daughter is o.k., ! No more RP! Again, thanks to everyone who prayed for us. They said that it was very peaceful,,,he just went to sleep. And yes, we do know that he is in a much better place. We will be going back down to Grants Pass just as soon as we know when the funeral is, so keep praying. My daughter is doing o.k. and yes, she is very anxious for baby Logan to arrive. She has another non-stress test on Tuesday. Thanks in advance to everyone for praying for us yet again.
