GUESS YOU'VE CAUGHT SOME OF MY POSTS - WHERE I AT LEAST TRY TO BRING

MY CURRENT BOSS REALLY BLOWS ME AWAY SOMETIMES - ALL HUMOR IS LOST ON

HER. SHE'LL SAY " I SUPPOSE YOU WERE TRYING TO BE FUNNY WITH THAT? "

WHEW! AT LEAST MY PATIENTS THINK I'M FUNNY - AND NO - DOESN'T HAVE

ANYTHING TO DO WITH MY LOOKS :-)

THOUGH... THE NOSE IN MY SMILEY FACES IS PURPOSELY LONG AND NARROW :-

)

WELL, JUST REST ASSURED THAT YOUR MOM IS NOT ALONE ON THE EYE THING.

TODAY ONCE MORE - I WAS SLEEPING - BUT ONLY HALF AS GOOD AS YOUR

MOM! I APPARENTLY ONLY SLEEP WITH ONE EYE WIDE OPEN - AND THE OTHER

CLOSED TIGHT. SO, FROM ONE SIDE - I LOOK AWAKE (WHICH HAPPENS TO BE

THE SIDE THAT FACES MY WIFE WHILE SHE'S DRIVING) AND THE OTHER LOOKS

LIKE I'M ASLEEP (WHICH IS MORE ACCURATE).

JUST ANOTHER ODDITY OF ALL THIS I GUESS. BUT, IT IS RATHER BAFFLING

FOR THOSE INVOLVED IN OUR LIVES I GUESS, BECAUSE MY FAMILY INSISTS

THAT THAT EYE IS OPEN SO WIDE THAT THEY THINK I'M CONCENTRATING

REALLY HARD. I'VE TRIED - AND I CAN'T FAKE IT - IT JUST DOES IT.

WIDE OPEN. LATELY, I'VE CAUGHT MY ELDEST DAUGHTER WAVING A HAND OR

SOME OTHER SUCH BEHAVIOR. SHE NEVER KNOWS IF I'M AWAKE OR NOT.

PLUS, WHEN I AM TIRED - THAT RIGHT EYE WILL CLOSE - BUT I'LL STILL BE

AWAKE - KINDA IN THAT LIMBO STATE.

GUESS SINCE OTHERS CAN'T NECESSARILY TELL IF I'M SLEEPING OR NOT - MY

SNORING MUST HAVE GOTTEN BETTER :-)

GOTTA LOOK AT THE POSITIVE :-)
