Hello everyone. Jerry and I are finally home from our five week

adventure across the Country. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed

the entire trip. The driving was terrific, listened to lots of books

on tape and stopped in some beautiful cities along the way. Our two

weeks at the beach were great. Jerry even had a chance to get in the

pool with his new life jacket and be upright rather than in the

wheelchair the entire time. Seeing all the kids and grandkids was so

wonderful.

One of the highlights of the trip was our visit to Deborah and

's home in Charlotte and the opportunity to meet some of you.

What a great time we had. Belinda and Glenn stayed in the same hotel

as we did in Charlotte so we got to laugh our way through breakfast

together. Glenn is probably wondering how we ever found our way home

after I got us all lost trying to find Deborah and 's home. It

was " amusing " !

Jerry remained healthy through most of the trip. We only visited one

Urgent care center and that was on our way home in Asheville, NC.

Turned out to be a sinus infection and some Asthma problems. A

little antibiotic, steroids and inhaler and we were once again on our

way. Still need to check things out with the doctor here but Jerry

is much improved. Just got in today so we are both tired, ready for

a good night sleep in our own bed and then we will greet another day

and get on with the excitement of doing laundry.

Thanks again to all of you for your suggestions and travel tips. We

are both ready to make another trip in the future. Maybe not 6,000

miles but California or Las Vegas would be nice.

Hugs, Jan

Jan,

Glad to hear you and Jerry made it home safely. I will have to tell

Glenn you did but he might not ever believe it! lol I told you I was

going to send you the pictures of you and Jerry and guess what I lost

them when my computer messed up! boo hoo. They were such wonderful

pictures also. I think next time I am going to make sure I have both

cameras and not just my digital! I hate when I lose pictures,

especially important ones. Deborah is in NYC, I believe having

surgery for Chiari Type 1. They found out what was wrong with her.

They are doing more test today but that is what they are planning as

far as I know. She also got some results of a CA125 test that she

wasn't aware of. I am worried about that also. We are hoping that

will be able to keep us posted. He said he would and I believe

he will. Glad you are home and hope that you can get some rest in

between laundry.

Love and hugs,

Belinda
