Guest guest
I'm at about 6 months or so after my uppper/lower surgery and now my upper left jaw has begun to swell a bit. Everything has been fine up until now. My jaw is tender and begins to ache quite a bit when I chew. Anybody know what could be the problem? I'm out of town for the summer and rather immobile so it will take a few days to get everything cleared with the insurance so I can see a new doctor. Don't want to have to go to the ER for nothing. Guest guest
Could it be something like mumps? I'm 22 and a bit old for the illness, but I'm not at all familiar with it to know one way or the other. It sure is annoying. > I'm at about 6 months or so after my uppper/lower surgery and now my > upper left jaw has begun to swell a bit. Everything has been fine > up until now. Guest guest
It could be an abcessed tooth, or some other tooth problem. You don't necessarily need a trip to an ER, but probably a dentist who can take x-rays. I don't know how insurance works for that. > > > I'm at about 6 months or so after my uppper/lower surgery and now > my > > upper left jaw has begun to swell a bit. Guest guest
Could it be an infection in one of the screws? My surgeon told me this was possible > I'm at about 6 months or so after my uppper/lower surgery and now my > upper left jaw has begun to swell a bit. Everything has been fine > up until now.
