Guest guest
I can't begin to thank everyone for your generous support, encouragement and prayers. We made it here to Long Island last night. My head hurt so bad I was in tears. We went to the Mc house where we were told to go and they told us that we would be staying at Variety House instead. Variety House is a part of children's charities and is across the street from North Shore Jewish Hospital. is already over at the doctors office. He is showing them my medical reports on the positive CA 125. If it weren't for the fact that I lost both my aunt and grandmother to ovarian cancer, and the fact that I have been so very careful to have the test every year, this could easily be shucked off by me as a false positive result. But, since in my own infectious disease doctors words, I do have the propensity to BE the odds....... well, you can guess from here. also promised me that he would work out something with the doctors this morning about putting in a central line or a picc line since my veins are completely shot from the other 4 hospitalizations and that is one of my greatest phobia's at this time... being repeatedly tortured by needles. The notes that you folks have sent are all saved in a file so that when I am up to it, in the hospital, I can read them over and over. Well, that's is for now. I just wanted to check in and let you know we made it safely and my tests begin, 32 tests to be exact, in just a few hours. Hugs and Warm Fuzzies, Deborah aka Tenacity But for the Grace of God, Go I! _________________________________________________________________ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com

Guest guest
Deborah, I have been rather quiet on your illness, because I have been overwelmed with your multitude of issues. I just did not know what to say to you. In fact, my husband's illness is rather oveerwhelming and he does not have as many issues as you. I do want you to know that you and your are in our thoughts and prayers. We have a , also, our youngest (36) son. I pray that your will be strong for you and give you strength. Please know that we will pray for good health for you and certainly for peace. Guest guest
WOW! 32 TESTS... AND CANCER SUSPECTED NOW TO BOOT! YOU'RE JUST TRYING TO MAKE THE REST OF US LOOK LIKE WHIMPS, AREN'T YA :-) ABOUT THE PIQ LINE... THEY CAN'T DO ALL THROUGH THAT LINE. FOR EXAMPLE, IF I REMEMBER RIGHT, THEY COULDN'T DO THE DYE FOR THE CONTRAST MRI. HAD TO HAVE A LINE PUT INTO MY HAND OR WRIST - OR WHEREVER THEY COULD STICK ME AND GET IT TO WORK - FOR THOSE SUCH THINGS. WAS REALLY A BUMMER TOO - AS I TOO WAS TOLD I COULD GET IT ALL DONE THROUGH ONE ACCESS. ALSO, A WORD OF CAUTION. IF THAT PIQ LINE STARTS TO HURT YOU - TELL THEM. MINE HURT FROM DAY ONE. BY DAY 7 OR 8 (OR WAS IT 10 OR 12 - I CAN'T REMEMBER - BUT IT WAS A WHILE LATER) - MY VEIN HAD HARDENED - BIG TIME. FINALLY HAD A NURSE WHO WOULD LISTEN TO ME, AND THEY CHECKED AND PULLED IT. THOSE CAN BE MIGHTY NASTY THINGS - WITH THAT LINE GOING RIGHT IN TO THE HEART. WELL, IT'S ALL NASTY THOUGH - ISN'T IT?! GLAD YOU SEEM TO BE ABLE TO READ SOMETHING ANYWAY - ENOUGH TO TYPE ANYWAY. UNLESS YOU HAVE SOME GHOST WRITER FOR YOU THERE - AS YOU SAID ROBERT WAS IN WITH THE DOCS. CATCHA LATER. UNDERSTAND YOU'VE BEEN TALKING WITH EURICO. ME TOO. HE'S A SUPER GUY, ISN'T HE! LOVE YA - FEEL FOR YA - PRAYING FOR YA PAUL > I can't begin to thank everyone for your generous support, encouragement and > prayers. We made it here to Long Island last night. Guest guest
Dear Deborah, You don't know me but I am a caregiver to my husband Warren and have been off the list for a couple of months due to computer problems, so I am not aware of allof your difficulties. It sounds like there are a lot. BUT I do want to let you know Ovarian cancer can be beaten, as I had it 26 years ago and with an operation and radiation, chemo, etc I was lucky enough to win. I will pray for you to beat it and other obstacles too. A Friend, S. Progress Report #1 > I can't begin to thank everyone for your generous support, encouragement and > prayers.
