Guest guest
Hi everyone. Sorry to hear that so many of us are having problems. As for the fatty tumors depending on where they are located is going to depend on whether they are from RP or cause by age or by predinsone, sense all three can cause these problems. As Dr. Trentham's report (posted on Angies web site) brings out the lymph system can be involved with RP. Since the lymph tissue is all through out the body, this would explain why so many have problem with this type of fat deposit. These "deposits" are not necessarily tumors. They can be quiet painful and unsettling. But "normally" are benign. The lymph system is responsible for cleaning out your bodies toxic waste and can be clogged. Pred and age are also factors that should always be considered. Liz, you are 100% correct. The T3 and T4 thyroid screening tests are very unreliable. I have thyroid cancer with several hot and cold nodules and these tests come back well with in normal limits. Along with an iodine uptake and two ultrasounds. It was not discovered until they did an MRI with contrast on the thyroid. And some every fancy blood testing at the endocrinologists office. Hope all have a wonderful weekend. R.
