Guest guest
I think it is great you got a hospital bed! I think you will sleep better on it then your $15.00 cot. I can't believe that cot is falling apart either. lol! (laugh out loud) I know some sleep in a recliner. I was at the doctors office today and a man told me of a place in Atlanta where I can go and borrow equipment if they have it that has been donated to them. It is wonderful what you can find out when you just start up a conversation with others! Belinda > Hey guys! Guest guest
Yep. Simply amazing what you can find out when visiting with others. We spent Saturday afternoon with one of our pastors... No TV - nothing - just us. We did nothing but visit. Get to know each other (and do some Bible discussing - of course). Conversing is an excellent thing to do - yet woefully, many have forgotten how to do it. Hey - where in Hotlanta do you live? My parents live in Powder Springs. I'm coming to Atlanta next month. Gotta go to Florida for some CEUs, and my parents - the gems they are - offered to keep me company - so... even though it would have been easier and more convenient to fly directly to Florida - I'm going to Atlanta and driving with them. I love them dearly - as they do me. I'm sure we'll enjoy the time together - and will be interesting to see how I do on the trip :- ) Donnalee usually just lets me move at my own pace - which is - snail-like. Will be interesting to see if my dad has chilled enough to allow me to do that - or if we'll be looking at the old 6 a.m. wake up calls :-) Guess I won't be posting late at night then - huh? Going to CA within a week of my return. Between those 2 trips, and the Conference in Chicago - I'm going to be gone an awful lot... Of course, there are those who say I'm " gone " anyway - even when I'm " here " . :-) Have a great one! Paolo That's Italiano for Pablo Which is Spanish for :-) I've got a neat name :-) > > Hey guys! Guest guest
, I have heard of Powder Springs but I can't remember for the life of me where it is. I will have to ask my husband when he gets home from work. How long are you staying in Powder Springs? Is your father retired? If he is then you might see that he is not a 6am man anymore. My father used to get up at 5 am everyday for a while after he went on disability but he got out of the habit after a while. He still gets up early but likes the time alone before everyone else gets up. He has always liked that though. I will find out about Powder Springs and will see about coming to visit you while you are here. If that is ok with you and you are around long enough. I went and stayed with my parents for a week and a half. It was a nice visit. I also was able to visit my brother's church that he Pastors in Winston-Salem, NC. I know that he is my brother but he is a wonderful Pastor. I love him very much. When he preaches it is like it isn't him anymore but God speaking through him. You don't always see that anymore. Those are the sermons that touch you and you know that God is talking to you. God bless, Belinda > > > Hey guys!
