So glad you are all home safe and sound. What a place for your husband to have an accident. Sorry to hear he hurt his shoulder again. If there is anything I can do to help you let me know! I am just a phone call away. Take care and get some rest!

Lots of Love

Hi Glenda, I am going to call Jim's orthopedist as

soon as they open this morning. He was much worse

last night, and has lost even more mobility. Have to

get my car in, but the idiot's insurance is going to

have to cover a rental car for us, so that should be

o.k. How are you doing? And Mike? I think we are

going to be fine, but thanks for the offer of help!

My computer detected that virus that was in June's

attachment also. YEAH! You take care, Glenda. How

is your sister? Love, Sharon

Sharon,

Hope you were able to get hubby into see the dr. I know how important is to have him up and going! Please let me know what you found out! Hope you get the rest you need too! Thank the Lord no flare!!! I know shut up or someone will hear!LOL

So glad that you didn't get the virus from that email either. It was really weird cause I went to the group and it wasn't there. I don't know how it came cause I deleted and don't want it back!LOL

My sister was scheduled for surgery this week but she is so bad that the dr. wants to have another dr. help him in the procedure. He said he doesn't see why her legs haven't fallen off. The circulation is so bad it is not a laughing matter. Now they are worried about disturbing the plaque in the veins and it going into her one good kidney. It doesn't look good for her that is for sure. Please keep her in your prays. Surgery has been postpone until the first week in August. I will let you know.

I am glad you are back! Oh Yah how is baby Logan and Mom doing? Oh I will shut up for now. Take care and know I think of you often.

Lots of Love

Glenda

Hi Glenda,

I am taking Jim to the doctor this afternoon, so

hopefully we will find out that he is o.k. He did

make it through work yesterday so that was

encouraging. Couldn't afford to miss another day. He

has no paid sick days, no flex time off, no personal

days off, no paid funeral days,,,nothing! So, losing

this time will have a big hit on us. YIKES!

Please do keep me informed about your sister. That

sounds very serious. Is she having the surgery here,

or does she have to go to Portland? I will definitely

be praying for her, and for you. I know how it is

when your sister is hurting in any way.

Baby Logan and my daughter are both fine. The stress

test last week still indicates no problems. She has

another one on Monday. The doctor is probably going

to induce her around the 15th or so-if she makes it

that long. Thanks for asking.

Take care and have a great weekend! Love, Sharon

Hi Glenda,

I'm sure everything will work out for me. It's just

that I was doing so well (or thought I was) on the 200

mg that he had me on. My ears were the best they had

been in over 18 months. So, it is sorta' scary to

have to cut back down to the 150. Oh well, just as

long as I can get the pred tapered!

Thanks for the thoughts and prayers. We need 'em!

How is life treating you over there on the other side

of the river?

Love, Sharon

Life on this side of the river is doing okay!LOL Our grandson went home to his mother which was probably a big mistake. It is just the 3 of us again except for our nephew who is staying with us. He isn't here much so it is almost like our normal home again.

150mg of Imuran should be more than enough for your system. Hopefully it will get all under control and then you will be able to go down even more. Once they get your system so it doesn't fight itself you almost feel normal again.

This morning it is cloudy over here. At first they were forecasting rain and now just cloudy with a slight chance of showers. Darn it anyway I was hoping for rain.LOL Oh well at least this will make it cooler maybe.

Did you ever ask Dr. H. about the other patient that he has? Maybe you could tell Dr. H. about the support group and give him the addy to give to the person who lives on the coast. When I had Dr. H. he said that whoever it was, having a time with controlling their RP. Just a thought!!! Maybe we could help them through some of it at the group.

Well I will shut up for now!LOL Take care and keep getting better!

Lots of Love

Glenda

Hi again Glenda,

Oh, it is lovely here today isn't it? I would have

preferred rain also, but at least it is cool and the

clouds are beautiful. Maybe we'll get our rain

tomorrow.

Yes, I need to give Dr. H this address to this group

so that he can pass it on. I'll try and remember to

do that next time I go in. Apparently he is doing

great on the Remicade now.

The reason that he upped the azathioprine for me was

that I was still flaring on 150 mg. Two hundred

stopped the flares, but the trade off wasn't so great.

I am just going to hope for the best and go ahead

with my scheduled pred cut tomorrow. I have his

permission to adjust my dose, so if I flare, it will

have to go back up temporarily. With all this stress

I've been under, and NO flare, I take that as a really

great sign!

Take care and enjoy your quiet house? Quiet probably

isn't a very apt description with a 6 year old around.

Our grandson and his dad are backpacking this

weekend, so it is quiet here. At least for today and

part of tomorrow.

Take care and enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Love, Sharon

Hi Sharon,

Now I will dream of 5 pound bags of sugar sitting on me all night. lol Thanks I need to laugh to not cry. :) I appreciate your kind words of encouragement. I hope I clot quick. lol I don't know if I wanna be awake or not. But I would kind of like to watch it on the screen. If they will let me have my glasses, the note already said no contacts. lol

Thank you so much!

love ya

LU

Hi Lu, Sharon here. I had that exact thing done in

Sept. 1999. The procedure itself was entirely

painless. I had thought I wanted to be semi-awake,

but when it came time I asked them to get me as out of

it as possible. "cluck, cluck" I did rouse maybe

twice during the procedure, but it was all very fuzzy,

and no pain. When they were finished they woke me up,

took me back to my room. I did have local pain where

they put the tube in my femoral artery, but mainly

because I wouldn't stop bleeding. (Have to give the

nurses extra work) You have to lie perfectly still

after the procedure and that was painful, but the

cardiologist gave me fentanyl and that helped my back.

That was what hurt the worst,,,just from lying in one

position. They finally had to get a 5 or 10 lb. bag

of sugar (I forget which) and lay it on the wound to

make it stop bleeding. No, I wasn't on any medication

at the time that would cause bleeding. The pain from

the procedure was not bad at all. By day two or three

it was pretty much completely gone. And NO pain

during the procedure. I will certainly be praying for

you tonight and in the days to come. Keep us

informed, please. Love, Sharon

Hi Lu,

How were the dreams last night? Must have been SWEET!

How are you feeling today?

Did you stay awake and watch the screen during the

procedure? If so, you are much braver than I.

Take care of yourself and let us know what they are

going to do about treatment for the vasculitis.

Love, Sharon
